Is this an emergency?

What genuinely can't wait until tomorrow

Not everything needs a same-hour visit, and we'd rather tell you that than sell you one. Here's how we'd triage it.

No cooling during a heat wave

In a Fresno summer this stops being a comfort problem quickly, especially with infants, older adults, or anyone with a health condition in the house. Call us — and in the meantime, get to a cooler space.

No heat on a cold night

A furnace that won't start on the first freezing night is one of the most common calls we take. Usually it's an igniter or a flame sensor — inexpensive, and same-day in most cases.

Water you can't stop

A burst line or a fixture you can't shut off does real damage by the minute. Shut off the main if you can reach it safely, then call — that one step limits most of the harm.

Sewage backing up into the house

A main-line backup is a health issue, not just a plumbing one. Stop running water anywhere in the house and call — running more water makes it worse.

No hot water at all

Usually next-day rather than same-hour, unless the tank is also leaking. If you see water pooling around the base, treat it as urgent and shut off the supply.

You smell gas — call the gas company first

Leave the house, then call PG&E at 1-800-743-5000 or 911 from outside. That comes before calling us, every time. Once it's made safe, we'll handle the repair.

Not sure which of these you're dealing with? Call and describe it — we'll tell you honestly whether it can wait.

What happens when you call

No queue, no runaround

An urgent call should feel like the problem got smaller the moment someone picked up. That's what we're aiming for.

01

A local person, right away

You reach our team, not a national call center reading a script. Describe what’s happening and we’ll tell you what to do in the next five minutes — which valve to close, what to stop using, whether to leave it alone.

If it genuinely can wait until tomorrow, we’ll say so and book you for tomorrow.

02

A tech dispatched, and a real window

We’ll tell you when someone can actually be there rather than a vague “as soon as possible.” Same-day is common; if the schedule is genuinely full, you’ll hear that instead of being strung along.

Your tech comes fully stocked, so the common failures get fixed on the first visit rather than becoming a second appointment.

03

Fixed, at the normal price

You get the price before work starts, and it doesn’t change — our No Surprise Guarantee. No change orders, no hidden fees, no add-ons discovered halfway through.

We clean up, walk you through what failed and why, and tell you plainly whether anything else is close behind it.

Local know-how

What counts as urgent in the Valley

Fresno's climate moves a couple of these from inconvenience to genuinely time-sensitive.

A no-cool call in July is a health call

When it's 105° for the ninth day running, an indoor temperature climbs fast and stays there overnight. For infants, older adults, and anyone with a heart or respiratory condition, that's a medical risk rather than a comfort complaint — and we treat it that way.

The whole Valley calls the same week

Our busiest days are the first serious heat wave and the first hard cold snap, because that's when every marginal system in the region fails at once. It's also why a spring or fall tune-up is the cheapest emergency insurance there is.

Slab leaks don't look like emergencies

Much of Fresno sits on slab, so a failed supply line under the floor shows up as a warm patch or a jumped bill rather than a flood. By the time it's visible it has usually been running a while — worth calling on the first sign, not the fifth.

Good to know

Urgent call questions, answered

How does pricing work on an urgent call?+

You get the price before any work starts, and it doesn't change — that's our No Surprise Guarantee. No change orders, no hidden fees, no surprise add-ons. If we find something else that needs attention, we'll tell you and quote it separately rather than folding it into the bill.

How fast can someone actually get here?+

We're open daily and same-day appointments are common, especially in Fresno and Clovis where we're closest. When you call, we'll give you a real window rather than a vague promise — and if the schedule is genuinely full, we'll tell you that instead of stringing you along.

What should I do while I wait?+

For a water leak, shut off the main if you can reach it safely. For a sewer backup, stop running water anywhere in the house. For no cooling in extreme heat, get to a cooler space and keep hydrated. For a gas smell, leave the house and call PG&E at 1-800-743-5000 or 911 from outside before you call us.

Is this really an emergency, or can it wait?+

Call and describe it — we'll tell you honestly. Plenty of what feels urgent at 9pm is genuinely fine until morning, and we'd rather book you for tomorrow than sell you a visit you didn't need tonight.

Do you handle both HVAC and plumbing emergencies?+

Yes — cooling, heating, and plumbing from the same team. That matters on a bad day, because you're making one call instead of working out which trade you need first.

Do you cover the whole Valley?+

Yes — Fresno, Clovis, Madera, Sanger, Selma, Visalia, and the surrounding communities, plus the Madera County foothills. There's no distance surcharge anywhere we serve.
