Why Install A Bosch Heat Pump?

Balanced Comfort is a Platinum Bosch air conditioning and heat pump installer.  We have installed more Bosch systems than anyone else in the Central Valley (Tech Clean California data).

Bosch heat pump systems are advanced air conditioning and heat pump systems are highly efficient in summer and winter.

Bosch has been making heat pumps since 1975. Here are reasons why you'd want a Bosch system in your home.

  • Quiet Comfort

Bosch inverter split systems and packaged units are the quietest heat pump systems on the market.

This system uses silent blade technology, and sound isolating mounts, to deliver outdoor sound levels as low as 56 dBA - which is much better than any standard system on the market.

  • Energy Saving

Bosch's heat pump systems can provide you with the perfect temperature while using less energy.

This system will only deliver the amount of hot or cold air needed to reach the desired temperature, so you'll save on your energy bill.

  • Fast Response

Traditional systems take a long time to reach the temperature you want. Inverter technology works faster and can ramp down smoothly to consistently heat and cool your home.

  • Consistent Temperature

Conventional systems turn on and off frequently, which can make your home uncomfortable.

Inverter-driven heat pumps can adjust, so the room temperature is consistent. This helps especially when the outdoor temperature climbs over 100 degrees.

  • Run Steady

The Bosch Inverter system avoids spikes in energy use and protects the system’s life-cycle by smoothly ramping up operation. This is done by avoiding the frequent on and off of traditional units.

  • Residential Limited Warranty

The residential limited warranty offers you peace of mind by providing 10 years of warranty. This covers all components that are incorporated into the heat pump system at the time it is manufactured.

Air Conditioning Systems - Know Your Options

When it comes to picking out a new air conditioning system, Balanced Comfort is here to help you find the ideal AC system for your home.

There are multiple types of air conditioning systems to choose from, learn more about each type below.

A heat pump looks just like any other air conditioning system.  It can be a packaged or split system.  The difference is that a heat pump has a device (a reversing valve) that changes the direction of the flow of refrigerant.

Typical air conditioning systems absorb heat inside the home and reject it outside.  A heat pump system absorbs heat outside and transfers it inside.  Switching between Air Conditioning and Heating (via the heat pump) occurs automatically and is controlled by the thermostat.

Heat pumps can be used to heat a building in the winter or to cool it in the summer. In the winter, the heat pump extracts heat from the outside air and delivers it inside. In the summer, it extracts heat from the inside air and delivers it outside.

Packaged units are air conditioners or heat pumps contained in one unit, installed outside the building often on the roof.

It includes the condenser coil, compressor, evaporator coil, and fan.

Caution should be taken when installing packaged units on the roof to ensure that the roof remains weatherproofed and that the unit is properly sealed to the piece of metal that connects the packaged unit to the ductwork.

A split AC system has two parts: an indoor unit and an outdoor unit.

The indoor unit is typically installed in the home, in a closet, crawlspace, or attic.  The outdoor unit is installed in a location outside of the home.

The two units are connected by a tubing system that transfers the refrigerant from inside to outside and back again.

This type of heat pump system does not require ductwork.

The indoor and outdoor units are connected by refrigerant lines, similar to a split AC system and the cooled or heated air is generated directly in the room.

This type of system is very efficient and can be used in both homes and businesses. These are ideal for installing in hard-to-reach places but are more complex to install than a central system with ductwork.
